- His Love is Manifest in Creation: “Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of the night and the day, and the [ships that] sail through the sea with what benefits people, and the water that Allah sends down from the sky and gives life thereby to the dead earth and disperses therein every [kind of] moving creature, and in the veering of the winds and the clouds subservient between the sky and the earth – are signs for a people who understand.” (2:164)

- Love Multiplied Tenfold: “The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: ‘Allah has divided His mercy into one hundred parts, and He withheld ninety-nine parts with Him and sent down one part to His creation, and it is from this one part that they show compassion to one another, the wild beast to its young, and the bird to its eggs.'” (Sahih Muslim)
- Seeking His Love Through Obedience: “At-Tirmidhi narrated from Anas ibn Malik that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: ‘The most beloved deed to Allah is that which is done continuously, even if it is little.'” (At-Tirmidhi)
- He Loves Those Who Love Him: “The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: ‘Allah says: ‘Whoever shows enmity to a friend of Mine, I have declared war upon him. And the most beloved thing to Me with which My servant draws near to Me is what I have obligated upon him. And My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory (optional) acts of worship until I love him. When I love him, I become his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks. If he asks Me, I will surely give him, and if he seeks refuge in Me, I will surely grant him refuge.'” (Sahih al-Bukhari)
